I am back to beautiful Michigan after a week in Playa El Valle in Samana, Dominican Republic. I was with my sister from another mom. We joined a yoga retreat. It was fabulous, we stayed in the jungle, in a small rustic eco resort… your room does not have any windows, the curtains and mosquito nets are the windows… you can hear the roosters, the horses, the birds, the rain, you are completely immersed in the jungle, it is magical. Our days consisted of yoga, love circle, hiking to water falls, boating to deserted beaches, massages, fabulous fresh food, meeting beautiful people, and so much more. My heart, my soul are full of love. I already knew I loved Dominican Republic, but this experience made me think maybe I should spend more time there… it is calling me.
